Hi, I'm Ark, the founder of Caboo Cargo.

From primary school until I had my first car, the bicycle was the main means of transport. In my free time, one of my greatest pleasures was to cycle with my friends to the countryside or even to another city for tens of kilometers. I knew every corner of our villages, for example which tree had a bird's nest, the name of every street in the city I visited and the sound of our laughter floating in the wind. Back then, I thought that if I could have a faster and more efficient bicycle, I could ride further and enjoy more scenery.

After work, however, I generally spent long hours on the computer or traveling for work. Years of sitting indoors left me with numbness in my calves and sore knees before I was 40. My doctor diagnosed mild varicose veins and degenerative changes in my right lower extremity and recommended that I do more aerobic exercise and be less sedentary.

I tried running, walking and even regular cycling for quite a while, which brought some improvement to my lower extremity numbness, but anything more exercise increased the pain in my knee, including normal cycling. Riding uphill and against the wind was a real challenge for me, and slightly longer rides caused not only knee pain, but also sore thighs and even exhaustion.

Then I remembered our own production of e-bikes. In the past, we were an OEM and ODM processing factory, only selling to large wholesalers. I usually only do some necessary tests and shorter test rides, and rarely commute and long - distance trips.

When I started riding the e-bike, I fell in love with it, especially a two-wheeled cargo bike with a mid-engine. Not only do I ride 15 km to and from work every day, but on weekends I usually take my dog ​​Potato and my family for a whole day. Our battery has enough power to stop me worrying about not getting home before dark, and after every 60-100 km ride, I can go to work and live as normal the next day. Over the years, the numbness in my calves has become less and less frequent, my knees no longer hurt, and I have more energy than before. It's like I've picked up where I left off and love my life and this city even more.

My experience has also influenced the people around me, and many of my friends are attracted to e-bikes. My parents often ride the e-trike or cargo bike to buy groceries, go to the beach or the park. Now they enjoy their life very much and their health is better than before.

And I thought maybe more people can change their lives or their health through e-bikes like me, so I started the Caboo Cargo brand to bring the best and cheapest e-bikes directly to everyone and every family.
